Tron 2 movie, TV show

I found this website that gave reason to believe that Pixar is working on making a Tron 2 movie and that Disney was working on a Tron TV show called Warriors of Tron. The url is http://www.scifi.com/sfw/issue120/news.html.
It's old, but it still may hold some promise for a sequel.

Yeah, there was a rumor about Disney wanting to develop an animated Tron TV series, a few years ago. But as we know, they decided to go with a game instead.

They should have done a movie sequel AND a game at the same time.

disney are more of a company more intrested with just coming up with crappy family CGI films, than innovation eg tron. the only current films that i'v liked are pirates of the caribean

Remember when TRON 2.0 came out, and there was just a teaser website? It was just like "TRON 2.0 coming soon" man THAT got my heart racing...then they were just like "oh, by the way, is just a game, sorry"

I remember bringing a teaser link for tron sequel a number of years ago.. I think it was done outside of Disney. It was not a authorized version. But it was one that a fan had done a number of years ago. I remember Threeltodd had posted a note on that one. It was done in Realplayer Right Todd?

God, even the rumors have anniversaries now. That story is EIGHT years old already. Perhaps on the 10th anniversary of the rumors in 2009 we'll finally see the second film.
