alright! I got it to work thanks for all the help. do you ever notice that sometimes posts on a forum don't show up all the way? like you see some of it and then you check the same forum and there's more to the post than you saw the first time?

Don't know for sure. Without access to a Mac, I can't go digging deeper. I'm relying on Mac owners to help figure things out. But the Mac version clearly wasn't designed to support custom maps and mods like the PC version was.

Let me know if you get text in User Error or not. Sounds like it's not working for you, either.
