The sharing of websites that distribute illegal software downloads is against Tron Sector's user policies. I recommend you edit your post to remove that link. |
That website does not distribute software downloads, illegal or otherwise, nor does it distribute links to software downloads, illegal or otherwise. It is simply a search engine for torrents.
You might as well tell people not to post the address for www.google.com. |
Well, I didn't actually go to that site, and since you said to go there "for anything you want", I assumed that it was a website that specialized in unauthorized software redistribution.
I'd still recommend removing that link if you don't want to risk being banned. |
No risk, no reward. A good analogy would be to say that you can download the whole soundtrack for Legacy off of YouTube. There really is a good channel on there that has all the tracks and even the bonus tracks that don't appear on the original soundtrack.
I don't think anyone in their right mind would say you can't mention YouTube. You can't just go there and click on a magic button and get whatever you want. If you do find that channel you still have to jump through some hoops to download the tracks, but it is doable.
Definitely one of those grey areas, I agree, but still not crossing that proverbial line IMO. Same thing with Kickass Torrents (kat.ph). Go there, run a search, click on link, download a .torrent file, you still got nadda.
