While I can't speak for hearing much of any news (perhaps some other, more knowledgeable Program can help with that), there has been some reasonable activity and intent in the Tron: Uprising forum for activities to help support the series.

This includes letters directly send to Disney, sent at the start of each month, every month. There have also been some headers and other resources submitted by fellow fans there, too.
