I zoomed in on it-definitely a church.

It would be nice to determine the address where it stands. I climbed Google maps around the filming location, but I didn't see such a building. Perhaps the scene was filmed from a different roof.

It could also be possible that some of the buildings could have been torn down since the filming of TRON '82 back in 1981.

Dealt with the question. It is reported that the temple burned down, and instead rebuilt and built what they could. Therefore, the temple stands, but in a different form. Address: St. Joseph Church 218 E 12th St, Los Angeles, CA 90015, United States – Google map 3D. It is noteworthy that "Tron" was filmed in 1982, and the temple was burnt down next in 1983.
