Can we please stop with this garbage? There is no sequel in the works, there has been no official announcement of a sequel. Period. Okay? Got it? Let's lay off all these misleading subject lines that lead us to think that anything aside from the previous statements is true. And do you have any idea how many scripts end up going through the shredders in Hollywood? More than you can imagine. A script means no more than getting a girl's phone number: unless it results in a date you end up going on, it's essentially worthless. And anyhow, would you have wanted these two mediocre writers for Lost to be doing another Tron script? Um, no. These guys should stick to TV. And do you really want a sequel? T:L was so groundbreaking that I doubt you could go any farther with the concept with what we have now in digital and theater technology. Compared to T:L, almost any movie sucks, so if the next one sucks or is in some way lesser than the original, it'll just disappoint us or soil the name of the franchise.

In closing, speculation about a sequel is not news..... NEWS is news. Let's not have any more of this until there is some actual NEWS on this. Let's make our threshold for reporting something as, say, an official announcement from Disney, a comicon preview, or news of the actors being cast for the next one, if there is a next one. Otherwise that's like saying "Pam Anderson is coming to your house with a bottle of wine..." and then when you read the post it goes on "...sometime in the next billion years."abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

I'm of the opposite opinion. Might turn out to be nothing more than glorified fanfic and "what might have been," but it's fun to dream.

BTW, I've seen the original so many times I wore out my VHS cassette. I've seen Legacy three times total. Why? Because Legacy is painful to watch. It's bittersweet at best and a shaggy dog shooting gallery at worst. Even the only lasting good in the mess (Quorra's survival) has some serious downsides if you give it five minutes of thought.

I'm hoping a third movie will throw the Reconstruction switch and show why the digital world is worth it. Give a counterargument to the idea that Programs and Users are both "too crude and rudimentary" to co-exist. Give an argument why the digital world is anything other than a threat. It's already endangered humanity twice, why is trying to save it the sane option?

It's an entire universe in there, one we created, but it's beyond us now. Really. It's outgrown us. You know, every time you shut off your computer...do you know what you're doing? Have you ever reformatted a hard drive? Deleted old software? Destroyed an entire universe?"

Saving humanity isn't necessarily the sane option either, considering the countless times throughout history that it's tried to self-destruct and is still making a damn valiant effort... we just happen to be biased on the subject.

I still say T:L is pretty painfully biographical of the world. Corruption, tyrants, apathy, grief, a few people who fight and it doesn't seem to do any good. I still have yet to figure out if the parallel is very intentional to show how life is the same everywhere and some things are [human] nature and nobody gets it right, or if they simply picked a standard plot that people would "get" and I'm just reading way too much into it to think their intentions were deeper than that.

What do you want? I'm busy.

Program, please!

Chaos.... good news.

I'll post what ever I feel is relevant to the forum thank you very much, if you're tired of seeing this 'garbage' your options are simple:

1) Don't read the topic.
2) Leave Tron-Sector.

Other than that you can't tell me what I can and cannot post.

p.s. A sequel to Tron was considered 'garbage' by most for almost 28 years, good job people kept the hope alive wasn't it?abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

There ain't nothing wrong with posting your opinion and secondly it is possible for them to be in the making of Tron 3 with some very good ideas as to what storyline might be coming out next. Thirdly, I personally think this is a Fan site just trying to keep hope alive in people about the new movie that might be coming out sometime in the next few years or it could be like Legacy and come out within the next decade. Eather way folks, I think its great.

Flynn would have wanted us to keep hope alive. Anything is possible right? where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

You do realize this is a fansite . . . and not a news network? That's all we have to work with. There's a general interest in it and there's obviously not going to be any solid news for quite a while . . . I mean, we need something to do.

I'd also like to say that, at least in my personal opinion, that neither film has completely showed us everything the computer world could be and stand for . . . "Ghost in The Machine" got very close.

Everyone was left open-handed at the end of T:L. We see Tron come back . . . We know Sam's too headstrong to just leave the Grid the way it is. Doesn't anyone want Flynn to come back, or am I nuts to even think of that?

Sometimes the characters tend to drive the "concepts" of the story . . .

It will be upto us fans as to how badly we want TRON 3 to actualy happen. Just look at what happened when the TRON 2.0 pc game came out back in 2003, and where it came from 7 years later. If you respond enough, Disney WILL listen, enough said.

Geez, Moses, who pissed in your cornflakes this morning???

Just be optimistic. And if really nothing comes out of this first draft, that's fine. You just have to roll with the changes, vato.

Why use Norton AV or AVG to protect your computer when you could be using TRON instead!?

First- Moses613, calm down. You are more than welcome to post your opinion here, as all members are, but do so without putting down fellow members or starting a flame war. This site will not tolerate such behavior, especially on my watch.

Second- As already mentioned, this is a Tron fan site. This member posted something they wanted to discuss, it's Tron related, and they have the right to do so. The Mods will decide if there is a topic that is out of line and needs to be removed, not another member.
