In either Allen or Rams human counterparts cubile there is a white piece of paper with black text on it reading "klaatu verata nicto" from the day the earth stood still.

I may not be accurate, but it definitely looks like an Apple ][!

I'll have to check up on more of the history of computers. ;]

Yea, that phrase is pretty much a sci-fi staple quote. Three characters in Star Wars were named Klaatu, Barrada, and Niktu. It's a way of honoring science fiction's parantage, the old serial style, like the era of Buck Rogers, the granddaddy of 'em all.
