Discs of Tron - Environmental Cabinet....

Does anyone have or know anyone who is selling an Environmental version of DOT that is still intact (meaning not sawn in half)? Now and again I see some machines up on Ebay, but only uprights, withought the speech.

Be persistent. One will show up sooner or later. You can always try advertising on rec.games.video.arcade.collecting and ask if anyone is selling. Be prepared to pay out the nose for shipping as it's a bear to ship.

Someday I plan to get an environmental cabnet for my collection as well. I just gotta figure out how to get it through my door in one piece.

I recently bought a sawed off and I am restoring the back end to it's former glory. It's a fun project!

Ya ive been thinking, i'm not sure if I want a full cabinet or get a brand new MAME cabinet. I understand its not the original artwork and detail, but for a grand more you can have an arcade machine that plays both TRON games plus many more.

Gets your juices a flowing when redesigning the back end of those things doesn't it. I had seen some sawed off version of DOT. But reconstructing the end that was cut away from it was intrigueing. Makes you want to make the back end of thiose a lot better than they were originally deigned for you know.
