FreedomForever Wrote:Sketch, those are cool...the prototype is demented. Not in a really bad way, but gridbugs should not be PINK...

He's not pink, he's white. He's the orangedeyed albino gridbug.

Used white so I wouldn't waist the neon green on the prototype.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

How cool does that look?!!

Great job, Sketch!

Once again, you can take a simple (yet funny) image, and digitize it with a colorful mastery like no one else!

Check it out, everyone:

The Human Grid Bug - Digitized!

This image has been archived in the TRON-Sector image gallery under Fan Art, Miscellaneous for everyone to enjoy in the future!

I can't wait to show this to the guys at work!

EDIT: Ok, I just uploaded 4 hi-rez images of grid bugs to the image gallery! I couldn't believe there were NO images of the actual grid bugs on the internet (at least not searchable in 10 minutes or less) before! And you can also see how accurate Sketch's pipe-cleaner grid bugs are by comparing to these images!

FreedomForever, uh, I see you uploaded a file for your gridbug, but it's file extension is .cwk, which I can't open or view. Guessing it's an Apple extension. Any way you can send a jpeg image?order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

Ola! ok, so i didn't make it out of pipe cleaners, paper clips, corn flakes or people [eyes to todd] but here is my go at contstructing a Gridbug

Modelled in cinema 4d and some textures in photoshop. I've tried to be super accurate on the proportions -- its matched up to this screenshot:

And for todd -- heres a go at doing a *true 3d* Gridbug. You know the rules, cross your eyes so that the two gridbugs fuzz into one and just try to focus!

I'm currently animating the little fella, but i need to do some primitave rigging to get those little legs bobbing up 'n down, should be ok. I'm thining of doing the whole gridbug sequence in 3d. Any suggestions to improve him would be ace, more soon!

Hey Foilism. What did you use to make those gridbugs?

he was built in cinema 4d boingo, MAXON Cinema 4d, its an industry standard animation/modelling program, very stabel and reliable. The gridbug's a pretty simple model, mainly all primitive cuboids etc, i'll get a wireframe and unrendered views on here.

UPDATE! I've rigged up my little gridbugs legs, it way too much fun getting him to bob along to music! I'm still sorting the blinking problem [ack!], but he should be walking soon!

apologies for thread strecthing....
