I have been looking at using lithtech as the SDK for developing our 5 Minute trailer concept. Not having a whole lot of experience I wanted to poll peoples experience in developing cut scenes with lithtech or other engines and how viable this actually is....
Going forward, Zixx Level 1 was designed with Lithtech and it looks amazing. It also gives way to some big possibilities for a Fan Made Tron Movie aka Machinima.

The entire game TRON 2.0 was built in the Lithtech engine.
Zixx exists because of the work done to that engine for TRON 2.0, in my opinion.
If you've played TRON 2.0, then you know very well the capabilities of Lithtech to do cutscenes.
The question is, can you afford to license it?

Definetly Zixx benefited from Tron 2.0/lithtech. The look and feel is pretty darn close!@
That being said, I wonder if the lithtech SDK is available for nonprofit/student use or at least a discounted rate for non-commerical use.
Going forward i wonder if models/sprites/textures can be re-used from the Tron 2.0 rez files to create our own scenses. ie jet model walking across the light cycle game grid...

lol, i did some googling on 'Zixx' and it showed up as a tv show..
i have spent alot of time using the map maker from tron 2.0 but its seriously hard todo cut scenes..
so if such a program exsists to make the process a bit simpler i would call the person who finds it a god..
