Damn! I'd be playing right now, but either there's something up with my game or my patch.
I have the 1.042 patch installed, yet the game behaves as if there's no patch (you click Multiplayer>Internet, and it freezes for a while before displaying the blank server select screen).
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the patch, and I've used both the official and unofficial patches. And I wanna play lightcycles! 
EDIT: Wow, this was my 600th post!

Too many custom maps? Remove some of them (if you have any), and see if it makes a difference. Tried a mod but forgot to disable it?
Though when you say that the screen "freezes for a while", it sounds to me like the problem is something else.

No, I've only recently wiped my computer, so I have no maps, but it worked before I wiped it.

I had a total BLAST tonight!
Once you got warmed up, you were putting some slick moves on out there tonight.
Was so great to play with a decent ping and meet up with you out there tonight. Great fun chatting and being silly too.
Those damn walls had it in for me tonight too. I swear - they're out to get me! 
I'll check your NASM pics tomorrow... after all my damn yard work. I hate yard work. Oh well, it must be done.
Going to bed now.

Wow, posting here paid off!
I just played about a round-and-a-half of curcuits with TheReelTodd!
Finally, after a long period of never being online at the same time, we met up on the light cycle grid for some great competition, friendly banter, and a few occurances of "damn wall!"
It was really great fun, as always, and I hope we get to compete again soon.

I had the same problem when I first installed TRON 2.0, months ago. It's PeerGuardian... I just turn it off and it works. Clever me. Oh well, I'm ready for next match!
