I'm not judging mind you, I would never do that. I'm merely observing.

And what I mean by "crap" is that it's a standard novelty item that happened to have a Tron sticker slapped on it, and 20 years later is now rare because, well it's a kiddie toy and got played with.

IF you are me or Martin, it is for the preservation and collection of TRON materials. It's why we go the way we do. If it hadn't had such good pics, I would have bid up to $300 for it. It is that rare.
Question is, who got it?

I didn't get it... I went up to $78 and didn't have time to go up to $120, which was my max.

Just over the max I put in. I wasn't in the mood to go toe to toe with Martin, so I didn't up my bid.
I really just want images these days.

I know this has nothing to do with the ray gun, but I'm bidding on a Flynn Lives pin from the ARG.

The other person's bid has gone over 15 bucks for it, and I just went to 13.

How much is it worth. If it's worth it, I'll try and win it. Only 20 minutes left on it, too.

I guess I can bid on a cheaper one, but I really wanted this one, because It came with a flyer "written" by Zack

EDIT:

20 minutes later that thing went for 35 bucks. I started bidding on another one, and I hope it stays the price it is.

Oh I have no doubt of it's rarity or place in the collecting spectrum. Kudos to you guys for keeping the collecting alive.

TronDave - I thought you were giving up your Tron collection.

Most of it, yes. Just going with the digital archives. However, there are pieces I am keeping and things I'd like to have. The Ray Gun would be one of them. DaveTRON

Haha, I've got to agree. When I looked at it I thought it looked rather cheap for such a high price. $150 for a cheap plastic toy gun with a sticker?
That's....5 Deluxe Identity Discs! But it's good to see it's memory preserved.      |

So take your 5 Deluxe Identity Discs, put them in a hermetically sealed vault for 20 years and they might be worth something.
Then again I think the overall production volume of the discs is more than 5 times greater than the Sark toy.
