I contacted MONSTER via email and they said the Tron Legacy product should start shipping the 2nd week of February....
As for where to buy, try Amazon...

thank you and it helps a lot. I was under the impression that these ipod docks were already released and sold out. Knowing they have yet to be released makes me feel better as I can get one when they are. Thanks again !

Also, if you search Amazon, I think they have a "sign up for a reminder when item is in stock"

Any sign of the dock yet? Mrs RecoPilot was looking at various iPod docks at work until I showed her photos of the Monster discdock...now she REALLY wants one of those instead!

wow good timing ! thanks to coolhandmelo I checked the monster website probably every 2 or 3 days hoping it would let me order the ipod dock. Always got the item not available etc screen... until tonight. Seems it is in stock and ready to ship right away from the Monster/Tron website. Here's the URL:

JR.com gets them in every so often, they have it at $249.99 with free shipping right now. I backordered mine last week and it shipped yesterday.
Just in case you want to save $50 and don't mind waiting a bit...

Update...
On Monsters Facebook they announced the t1 daft punk headphones won't be ready until April. They didn't advise if that date is also for the dock or the t3 headphones.... More waiting

I went looking for the dock today, as Amazon mysteriously only have a private seller listed (shooting himself in the foot) for $588. Went to Frys they have it for $249.99. Just wanted to update the thread, got the dock in today and WOW ! It is awesome... Well worth the amount I paid for me at least... Obviously very cool especially when lit up.

this item is up there in price, I think the highest Tron related items are the Oakley glasses, motorcycle suits, ipod dock, and the headphones.

Btw, I heard a lot of complaints that you can't get the app to get the clock working? Are you having problems with that? If not, what app is it that you have to download? Just wondering because I was thinking of getting this if it ever went down in price. Thanks!

K downloaded and everything is a go. No problems at all with the clock showing on my iphone while in.
The Disney/Monster software definitely has some bugs though, when I fool around with the playlist in the monster/disney app the volume goes off so I have to just go back to my ipod app. Also when you first install the monster visual app (by plugging your iphone into the dock) it asks you to download an app which is supposedly missing, but you have to just click no and magically the monster visual option comes up in the Tron app.
