Went to Fry's today and saw they had these in stock, and I couldn't resist it. I do quite a bit of PC gaming and my old mouse was starting to...not be a Tron mouse...so I bought this one.  I was just going to put a couple pics up, but then I got it home and opened it and thought it really deserved a quick video, so I made one for you guys! I tried to answer common questions I saw from around the Internet, if you have any of your own just post them in here! Hope you like it.

Have to say that mouse does look very nice, but the price? Amazon UK has it for £80 ($128) with the average price on eBay being around £100 (about $160), that's just insane.
The optical mouse I'm using on my PC cost me 99p, so nice to use I bought 4 more (the last of their stock) and at 99p each you can't blame me 
So what makes a gaming mouse a gaming mouse, how is it improved over an average ordinary optical mouse to justify the astronomical prices?

It's 129.99 from the manufacturer, are they selling these both with and without the mouse pad? I would hate to order one cheap and find out it didn't have the mousepad. Keep monitoring Amazon. It drops to $79 at least once a week. It usually only lasts for about a day when it does, though. Better yet, just track it on camelcamelcamel.com and it will email you whenever it gets to the price you want. I have it set it 59.99 myself.

I think Razer prices are likely inflated as is, but since you asked Glitch the 5600 dpi Razer on Amazon was going for about $70. The dpi number is what you look for to determine accuracy in optical mice, and that's what the Tron mouse is listed as.
I got the mouse and mousepad combo from Amazon when the price had dropped to $120. I've never had a nice mouse so I went ahead and sprung a little more than I normally would to get one.
I can't say for sure that the mouse is worth $70 but considering that is what Razer's own corded mouse with the highest accuracy is going for, if you can find the Tron version for that I'd say it's worth it. Certainly anything under $70 would be a steal.
