I believe it was a running change with the series 1 figures where the earliest were yellow but later ones were orange. And then all series 2 Clu figures were orange.

I've seen it in stores, it's like a mix of the CLU yellow and the Rinzler orange.

I have both the Orange and Yellow Clu's with katanas as well, and can vouch that they do exist and are different colors.

Everywhere I went, they only had Orange Clu's. I went to Wal-Mart and they had 2 Yellow ones on the pegs, so I grabbed one.

I've always thought of my Yellow S1 to be more movie-accurate, am I wrong? His yellow in the pic looks more orange than it does in real light imo. It's more yellow than that pic shows.

The TRON freak i am, i have been stalking my local Dizzy Store every other week since early February when all their TRON stuff went on discount. I also have seen both versions of CLU there, and remember before i bought one i had to decide which of the two i wanted. I chose the orange, as it had a really nice paint job. The yellow just looked too light for me.

I was there today to pick up a Sam disc, and noticed they still keep getting tons of stuff in ( still 40% off) and i still keep finding yellow CLUs there. If anyone really wants a yellow version i highly recommend saving yourself the postage costs and hit your local Disney Store in person. I am fairly sure you will score one there.

They have a few items that they do not list on the website...like this really neat light-up writing journel. Very cool item,...but still too pricey for me even at 40% off.

Back to CLU now....

The yellow version is quite yellow. Think 'Big Bird' yellow.
The orange version is a lighter orange then what is used on Rinzler, There is a definate difference as others above have noted.

They only had a few water bottles but by the time I went back to get one, they were all gone.

They still have the journals though. They just don't seem to be selling even at the discounted price.
