I bought another core CLU to do a custom with. The leg promptly fell off because they used a shoulder joint as a hip joint. How does something like that get past QC?

I bought a Rinzler figure that had two right legs. Pissed me off because the helmet was perfect, no scratches. Best one I'd ever seen but I failed to notice his baton holder was facing inward on his left leg until I opened the package and proptly returned it to Target for a refund.

I don't mean to contradict for the sake of contradicting, but I've taken quite a few of these guys apart, and all the ball joints are the same; same size, pegs, sockets, etc.
I think they just used one balljoint size to save money.
I have noticed, however, that some pegs are mishapen, so if you swap it with a pristine one, it should work better.
Also, yes, QC for spinmasters sucks.

The first core CLU I purchased had a head that snapped right off when I tried to position it. Sure enough, I've been (space) paranoid about the heads on my other TRON figures. Thankfully, none of the others suffered the same fate.

Nope. for instance, Jarvis's shoulder joints are way different than Sam's. The two aren't interchangeable. The hip joints on Kevin Flynn are also very unique in comparison to the other figures.

Let's not even look at Quorra's joints. Her shoulder joints aren't even remotely close to being the same size as her hip joints much less the same as any of the other joints on the other figures.

Speaking of anomalies, anyone else have figures with different sized limbs? I've got a Rinzler and Clu with one arm distractingly longer than the other.

I've noticed that pretty much all but 1 of my Cores have left legs significantly longer than the right. Trying to stand them straight up, and they lean way over to the right side. I thought it was just me going crazy, but it's always possible that the pegs are stretched or something.

My Sentries do have a slightly longer left leg, but I am not sure if it's the actual rubber elements that are deformed or is it the peg-hole for the knee joint which wasn't engineered with the proper depth.

Most of my figures have the shorter arm. I don't know why.
