Does anyone know if there were any plans for a SM CLU disc. . .

If sales hadn't dipped, causing the end of line, as it were?

I know people here occasionally get some insider information, such as the whatnot about the Castor figure, so I was curious if anyone had heard if SpinMaster had intended to make a Deluxe Identity Disc for CLU as well as the existing ones.

I ask because it does seem quite out of place that they'd have a Sam, Kevin, and Rinzler, but no CLU, given all the other CLU-based merchandise they made.

It is quite likely there would have been. As Series 3 Discs and figures were supposed to have been based on the Tron: Evolution video games.

I would have expected Anon figures, CLU's disc, ABraxas' disc, and other neat little things.

Truly is a shame that it went south, but what can you do?

That is quite unfortunate. Though, I'm surprised, since Series 2 consisted of Kevin/Rinzler, that Series 1 was just Sam, and not Sam/CLU.

Just seems odd that such a central character, that received so many other figures and vehicles would be ignored in the disc department, or rather, put off for a later set.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

Just want to be sure I understand correctly... are you all saying that the Tron series 3 merchandise has been discontinued? I saw the comment about "end of line" so I wanted to be sure I understood correctly.

In addition to the CLU disc, I also wished SM would have made a Rinzler light cycle.

That's correct. Discontinued due to poor sales.

The truely sad thing is that if they had just released the discs with clear C-ring and clear outer ring pieces, making other discs would be as simple as just changing LEDs!

The trick is that you can actually do that... My disc is black with white C-Ring and Blade. The catch is that you've gotta drop the cash for a Sam AND Flynn disc, and swap the parts. Clear rings, black disc, but you'd have to swap/paint LED's and paint the details on the disc. Better than nothing, but i'm still really surprised that CLU of all characters got skipped in this department.

I'm betting they were aiming on getting each major faction represented in the discs. General Program (Combatant, Civilian Program) "Sam" disc, Black/Blue, Siren/Castor/Flynn "Flynn" disc, White/White, "Villian" Program (Rinz, Jarvis, Guard, Sentry) "Rinzler" disc, Black/Red-Orange.

I'd be more willing to go with that theory if there were any other hints that Spin Master had any idea what they were doing. abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion
