This is not for sale by me... you won't pay me... you will deal directly with the manufacturer(this is a professional neon manufacturer btw... not somebody in a garage...)... they offer a great warranty... and you'll pay by PayPal so you have a level of safety.

There have been 40 of these signs ordered and at least 10-15 people have already received theirs over on the KLOV forums...

I know what you mean. I don't have any posts here but I absolutely love Tron(old movie more than new but I still like the new one a lot). There has been talk about doing this sort of neon for years but this is the first time it's come to fruition.

There is another sign being worked on by this guy that will look like the bottom "Tron" part of the "Home of Tron" sign in Flynn's arcade...

But the color scheme will be more like the Tron marquee from the arcade game. Should look pretty cool if he can pull it off. Here was his first attempt...

I'm hoping he'll have the new one done in a few days but he's gotten busy because of all the custom signs he's doing now.

Gu(the eBay guy) told me I could share a $20 refund with the guys over on KLOV but I don't see why he would care if I shared it here too.

Just put "Refund $20 Please" in the notes section of your PayPal payment and once he sees that he will refund you $20.

Long story short, he wasn't making enough money off his custom signs to justify he keep making them. Except for the few signs he's made for us, he's increasing his prices dramatically on all the rest.


Oh, and EL is pretty cool(and cheap!)... but there is no comparison between it and real neon. I think there was a guy on KLOV that was selling routered wood that people were adding EL to, if I remember correctly it looked pretty decent.

Wow!!! I wish they did a light cycle themed one too though.
