I am a TOTAL neophyte when it comes to gaming, so forgive me if I have to ask....

I am entirely new to the world of gaming and do not own any gaming devices, so I thought I would ask this here before wading into the murky waters of researching on my own what's compatible with what. I know the PSP Vita *is* backwards compatible with PSP games. So they question is.....did they make any Tron games for the PSP? If so, then I am just going to have to get a Vita. That'd almost be what clinches the deal for me right there.

I can just hear the knives being sharpened over how I put this here instead of the gaming boards. But I wouldn't even know what board within this site to put such a question on. That's how clueless I really am about games in all respects. But thanks anyhow for the help. order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pillwhere to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Haha, no problem. I'm very into gaming and I can help you choose a game system. I love helping people choose a system that fits their entertainment needs.

I'll split this into two parts, consoles and handhelds. Consoles would be systems that plug into your TV, while handhelds would, naturally, be the ones you hold in your hands.

Consoles:
Wii:
Backwards compatibility: Gamecube (incompatible with addons like the Gameboy Player or Broadband Adapter)
Tron games: Tron Evolution: Battle Grids
Pros:
-Cheapest of the three current mainstream consoles
-Great games from Nintendo
-Some great party games
Cons:
-Lowest specs of the current generation of consoles
-Lots of poorly done/broken/budget games
-Misses a lot of big-name AAA titles or gets bad ports

Playstation 3:
Backwards compatibility: Older models are less reliable and are known to quit working, but are compatible with PS2 and PS1 games. Newer models do NOT have PS2 game compatibility. Some PS1 games (Medal of Honor is one of them) have problems rendering correctly, meaning that half a level may be missing and will be impossible to complete.
Tron games: Tron Evolution
Pros:
-Solid online infrastructure/interface
-Most AAA titles are available and optimized for it (Mass Effect, CoD, Battlefield, etc)
-Online store allows you to pay exact amounts directly from a credit/debit card (Wii and Xbox 360 require you to buy predefined amounts of points, which you spend on games)
-Also functions as a Blu-Ray player
Cons:
-Some games run slower compared to Xbox 360 versions, but not by much
-Controllers can feel a bit flimsy and have been reported to break easily

Xbox 360:
Backwards compatibility: Select Xbox games. Tron 2.0 is NOT one of them.
Tron games: Tron Evolution
Pros:
-Solid online infrastructure/interface
-Most AAA titles are available and optimized for it
Cons:
-HDDVD compatibility if you buy an external HDDVD player to connect to the system
-Older models are notorious for breaking due to poor heatsink design
-Older models do not have any built-in WiFi compatibility; a separate antenna must be purchased for that
-A monthly paid subscription must be purchased in order to play any online multiplayer modes in any games.

Handhelds:
3DS:
Backwards compatibility: DS
Tron games: Kingdom Hearts 3D, Tron Evolution (DS)
Pros:
-Great support from Nintendo
-Creative downloadable games available through e-Shop service
-3D effect works well, and is utilized very creatively in some games
-Can save 3D pictures and videos
-Button placement is very comfortable
Cons:
-Short battery life
-Gameplay enjoyability will depend in some cases on how many people around you also own a 3DS, due to occasional SpotPass dependency, in which the system will communicate with other 3DS systems to exchange gameplay data

Playstation Vita:
Backwards compatibility: None
Tron games: While some PSP games are available for download on the PSN store, I don't know if the PSP version of Tron Evolution is available on this service.
Pros:
-Great graphics (almost PS3-quality)
-Most games are cross-compatible with PS3 counterparts (save game transferring)
-Innovative control input
-Very comfortable face buttons/control sticks
Cons:
-I experienced long loading times on an in-store demo unit, though people who own the actual system say they don't have this problem
-Requires a separately purchased Sony Memory Stick in order to save games
-3G service for the 3G model (as opposed to the Wifi-only model) is exclusive to AT&T

PSP:
Backwards compatibility: N/A
Tron Games: Tron Evolution
Pros:
-Comfortable face buttons
-Great selection of RPG games
-Long battery life
-Can purchase and download PS1 games through the PSN store
Cons:
-Analog stick nub thing (I don't know what to call it) is the most uncomfortable whatever-it-is I've ever tried using on anything.
-Not much other than RPG games

Hopefully this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me.Keep in mind that I do not own an Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PSP, or Playstation Vita. My assumptions for those were based off of borrowing the systems from friends, playing them at friends' houses, or in-store demo units. Other members who do own these systems, please give me your input on these systems I don't own so I can make my pro/con list as comprehensive as possible.

Also, if you're willing to learn a few things about PC hardware, you could go down the PC gaming master race route, lol. It's a bit difficult to get everything to work without issues, but it's all worth it in the long run. If you know where to look, you can find the parts to build a PC that will play high-end exclusive games for around $500.

TRON 2.0 (PC) name - TRON.dll
I'll play any mode, but I'm best at LC.

PSN - TRON-dll
XBOX Live/Games for Windows Live - TRONdll
-I have a Wii, DS, and 3DS. PM me to exchange friend codes.

Tron: Evolution came out for the PSP, so if you do end up buying a Vita I'd get that game if you wanted something Tron-esque.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online
