I'm guessing it's not so much Eddie programming Master Control 2.0 as Dillinger Sr. "committed suicide" by laser and ended up as the dark side version of Ma3a. (remnants of a human consciousness fused with an AI). The extent to which Junior's put this together? We don't know.
