Yes it was the main challenge: make it look like in real life as it does in the movie. 
For a better overall view I used a daylight flood to take the pics, which as a result dims the glowing effect. 
Of course, the darker the room, the stronger the glowing effect. My preference  is a relatively dull environnement but not completely dark: the rendering is then as close as possible to the movie.

The belt was a tricky challenge, designing the buckle so it is functional and give a purpose to that « accessory box » Moebius sketched. So was the necessity to hide the rods holding the different parts.

Switching ON the battery on the left hand side of the belt will trigger a short sequence on the screen, displaying the command lines Flynn used to access group 7 and will trigger a timer too. At the end of this sequence two things occur: the screen displays a grid and the neons are switched ON (maybe will I shoot this light-up sequence and post it somewhere..)
