I have a quiz for you all.
In my travels on the net I have come across what I will term TRON Erotica for lack of a better description (TRON Porn?). It's only two or three images.
I have always kept it separated in my collection and never thought of posting it until today when I was sorting through that folder.
What is the prevailing opinion of having images of this type on this site?
They ae TRON related, but how much responsibility do we as a community have for protecting any wee ones who might pop in here. Josh.exe comes to mind. I believe he is 11.
I am leaning towards not posting them here, but making them available to those on this site who would like to have them.
What does everyone else think?

Hmm, interesting dilemma. I'm curious to see them, but I see your point if they're remotely pornographic. I think that maybe there should be a restricted access portion of the site to house them if you want to post them in the site. Since they're Tron related, they might okay to have here; if they're artistic and tasteful. Maybe have a legal disclaimer or something that you have to click through before entering that area.

Well one of them doesn't qualify as 'tasteful'. It's pretty explicit.
One is a nude, and one is a rude parody of sorts.
I think the latter two might be OK to have here, but the one I am most concerned about should be shared behind the scenes.

DaveTRON, I think the best thing for you to do is to have an opt-in list for people who would like to see that sort of thing, and then maybe you can e-mail it just to those people, or have some other way of distributing it.
Putting it on this site is a bad idea. I understand that many if not most of us here are adults, but I really don't have a need to see that stuff on a sci-fi site, especially since minors may visit. I feel that stuff would only serve to sully the image of the site.
That having been said, please e-mail the pictures to me at your earliest convenience. I have a brown paper bag and dark alley at my disposal!

That's pretty much been my leaning all along. It doesn't belong here, but it does exist.
It's weird having something like that in the collection. You want share it and not share it a the same time.

Actually.... I think he's 9 going on 10.
Personally, I don't think these should be added. I have the box from the Tron movie here in my hands and it says it was rated PG. Shouldn't we keep the site this way too?

I share MutoidMan's opinion.
The best option is to ask if someone likes to see this type of images and send by the e-mail to the persons who want to look at this material 
Perhaps the adults of this Website think that images is amused and peculiar
But maybe not for other persons how the parents of the minors who visit TronSector, this is a good reason

Its hard to judge if they are good or not for the gneral public here without knowing what they look like. My suggestion that since this site is generate for everyone to come to. You might not want to post those up. I wuld have to take a look at them myself as well. But I can read by what your saying they might not fit into this site here. Sinces a rated E for everyone to come to here.

Please state in your email your date of birth and your age. If I don't buy it, I might ask for more proof, but most of you are pretty clear about how old you are.

I think of TRON as being from a more innocent time. Although curious, I don't wish to add far from innocent imagery to that memory.
The movie did seem to give a nod to the seedier side of software when Flynn was making his way through town - the hooker-like looking program.

I am not trying to pervert anyone, really.
I think it's not proper to have it here, but I am certainly open to ideas on how to share something that, however vile or off the mark, is part of our wierd little world! I think making it known that it exists is sufficient, and if people are that curious, they will request copies from me and that should do the trick.
I look at it this way. I have a large section in the archives that is called Cultural Impact, and in that section I have all the Family Guy, Futurama, Mega man, Reboot and other direct and indirect homage to TRON.
I keep these images in that same folder under 'Ummm' because they are evidence of the cultural impact of TRON in that someone chose to create art that was both erotic and TRON related. It exists, and was meant to be shared with others because it was created, but obviously one must be careful in how it is shared so as not to offend others. That's what I am doing here.

Well from what I have read here so far from what other people have posted about the pictures. I think as well its safe to say too. In a certain way that is its also pushing the cultural boundaries too. With the tron images that you had mentioned Davetron.
