WOW!!! Any pictures of it under black light? And talk about detail... look at the Gridbug sign infront of the model. That's one very impressive model. He should sell kits... I'd like to make my own Gridbug.

Yeah, this is a pretty impressive model. Hopefully we'll hear from Dave and when he has a chance he'll send us more images with a blacklight effect.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill onlineabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Big question: What is it made out of? It looks like Plexyglass but I'm not sure on that.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

How sweet!

When I first saw the image on the main page, I thought it was a computer rendered grid bug. But this grid bug has been de-digitized and made in the real world! And how very COOL it looks!

Excellent job, Dave Quiles! Very nice work!

That Gridbug model is amazing. It's nice to see people who have creativity and enthusiasm, that can pull off some really professional looking work.

I never ceased to be amazed by what Tron fans can create. Present company in this thread, is proof of that!

Wow....thank you everyone for the kind words. I'm glad you guys like my model. It was cut out of mostly 1/8" green plexiglas with a 1/8" red and some 1/8" and 1/4" clear pieces to bridge the gaps. To get everything to look right, the edges for most of the parts had to be hand sanded to the correct angles so they would fit. It was tendious work. The swiveling mechanism is tiny and very unique, but turned out to be cool. It was an afterthought that ended up working. My other afterthought that didn't make its way into the finished figure was an led in the visor part...that would have been way sweet. Anyway, thanks guys, especially Esotek for posting my pictures...once I get a blacklight, I'll take some photos and show you guys the glow effects. Also, look for a GID Flynn or Dumont custom hopefully by the end of the year. And I'd love to do a Solar Sailer. Any more questions/comments, be sure to ask...! This place rocks!

Thanks everyone for the gracious welcome. I'll be on here as much as possible, although, it's a busy time with all the art and working on starting my own biz and...oh yeah...that real job thing that takes place 4 times a week. But this place is cool! And the news about Tron being in Kingdom Hearts 2...insane! So swell.
