IMDb TRON Recommendations

Apparently, IMDb has a system where you can search for a movie and it will give you recommendations for other movies like that one. Here's the recommendations for TRON!

I fail to see the connection between Tron and The Spider Returns. Their database makes about as much sense as the Netflix system.

I was thinking the same thing as I read through the list. Then again, the grid bugs did look kind of like spiders... minus 4 legs. Maybe that's the tie-in? Also, the director of The Spider Returns has a beard and so does Steven Lisberger. Both films were produced in the Unites States. You know - the more I think about it, the more I can see the similarities.
