Official Tron Website

on Tuesday, December, 02, 2008 8:34 PM
Is this it? There is almost nothing in the Tron webring, and Google pretty much comes up empty (amateur sites and dead domains). This site seems to be the most-polished of the Tron sites (despites its several broken links in the Media section). Am I missing something...?

Nope, this isn't the official site. But if it were, then it would say so on the front page. This is just the best Tron site in existence. hehewhere to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Auric the webmaster of tron-sector is in the midst of an upgrading tronsector itself. Please bear with us here. There are a couple dead links here but will be fixed when he upgrades it to something better that will resolve those problems.

This site has been the official place for news on the Tron comic, which is the only new Tron material of note to have been released in years. So this is about as close to official as you can get. Though this may change if the Tron sequel gets fully off the ground.

Greetings, chappaai and welcome to TRON-Sector!

Please forgive my late standard, substandard greeting. Been a little on the busy side in the real world lately.

As people have already pointed out, this is not an official TRON website. It is an official TRON fan website. Of course, any TRON fan website can be called an official TRON fan website though. As far as I know, it's the largest (most content) and most popular TRON fan website currently on the net. And it certainly has the most friendly community I've ever encountered.

A couple of threads you may want to hit are:

What's with your name?

And...

Don't forget to PING in every time you have yourself Another dose of TRON

I think you'll enjoy your time here at The Sector

Shhhh!

When Disney launches an official site for , they'll be yelling at us because we're directing attention away from them by making people think this is the official site!

Oh, and welcome!

Okay, back online again. Had to shut down for installing an ethernet cable through the wall so my growing boy can connect up with our home network and the internet.

Reason I asked about the site is because it's all professional-looking (like something I would have done) and I was merely curious whether there was any official affiliation with Disney.

With 18 pages already on the name thread I think I'll just say here that chappa-ai is native name for a stargate. I didn't know if a hyphen would work or not, so now I'm stuck with the name without a hyphen.

Lastly, if I pinged every time I watched Tron then I'd inappropriately be dominating that thread, especially now that I'm actively working on my game again.order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

Oh, trust me, I think I speak for all of our members when I say that Disney probably wouldn't even try to set up a site like this. They just seem to be intent on killing off our favorite franchise. (Seriously, where did TRZ come from?!?)

Some of our members have worked at or with Disney in the past. DaveTron used to work at Beuna Vista Interactive, and I believe did some work on TRON 2.0. Another one of our members here worked with Disney on the Xbox port of TRON 2.0, and he once talked about the Breaking Benjamen music and how Disney was handling that. One member here is the guy that was the head of development on the game "Tank Universal", and Jay Maynard, better known as the Tron Guy is here, too.

We are far from official. abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Yeah, I like sites like this where it shows that somebody but some real effort and passion into the design and presentation. I think everyone would agree that there are good sites and bad sites on the net, not bad because of content - bad because of drag-and-drop a few low-quality images on a Microsoft template (begging for trouble right there when using MS software) with nearly no content and call it a website.

You know you've done something right when your site gets more praise and traffic than the corporate franchise sites.

Whomever the staff are at tron-sector, keep up the great work and I hope Disney doesn't eventually insist on deresolution of this domain. (Wouldn't it be cool if Disney actually liked this domain name and site design and offered to license it? It would be better than mickeytron.com)

I just wanted to add something here as well chappaai I don't know if Tron.dll was here at the time. Some of the cast of Tron did past through here as well like Cindy Morgan, and Dan Shore who played Ram in the film as well. Which is a good thing to see some of the original cast that has passed through here as well. I feel enough that this could be an official tron page. Since it has been around for a long time and being a long time member since 2002/2003. I would always go here first before I would go to Disney for any tron related items.

Perhaps this is a little funny, but it actually never even occurred to me to go to the Disney site for Tron information, media, and merchandise. The thought just never crossed my mind. Disney these days seems to be princesses, wall-e, Pixar stuff, and classic animation characters. When initiating research into "what's out there" on Tron, I went to Google first. Just didn't even think of Disney.

So what does THAT tell ya......

As a gamer constantly on the lookout for announcements and leaks, I have always had a personal motto of never going to the official site for new info. Fansites are your friend as long as they site a source.
