French Tron review in La Monde from 82 & questions

on Thursday, March, 11, 2010 5:33 AM
Hey guys,

during my current work on my Bachelor paper about Tron I collected all sorts of articles about Tron. We have an awesome movie library here in Berlin and among many articles you might know already, I found one from the French paper La Monde. I made a scan:

I don't speak French so I have no idea if it's worth anything. Anyone is bored and feels like translating? However, I collected like 30 articles in total, mostly German and English. You guys are interested to have scans of them?

One focus in my paper is the press reaction. It's funny that most of the German reviews didn't talk much about the groundbreaking visuals but about the dumb story... so much ahead of it's time

Btw... is there any mirror of http://www.tron-movie.com ? I found a paper with lots of references to that page and I suppose it had alot of production information etc.

Greetz

In my not so humble opinion; 98% of film critics talk out of their butt, especially whenever they do a review of some unique and well crafted science fiction or fantastical fairy tale film.
They just really didn't understand some of those films very well. Tron one of those films they didn't understand that much.

Tron's storyline is pretty good in my view and unjustly and too harshly criticized in my view.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

In a video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcyCEI-iFvM ) Lisberger just said:

"Other people, a lot of older people were actually offended that they went to a film that had the Disney name over the title and had aspects to it that they couldn’t keep up with. And that was sort of fearsome for them."

That's the point...
