Its 40degC here outside today at the arse end of the earth (Australia).

But I was of the understanding that over there it may aswell be -40 degrees. One wonders what Mr Maynard was thinking, and whether he should have worn something a bit warmer.

Take it from someone who wears Lycra in public regularly : choose your moments. If I was Tron Guy I would have done the same thing, but would have taken the liberty to wear something more substantial in the foyer to avoid the attention of the obvious. Once finding his seat he can then take off his coat and sit down.. and make sure his lights fade when the cinema ones do.

Then when it's all over march out of the cinema with nothing but the suit on in all it's glory. Then (of course) they can throw him out if they like.. but since he's on the way out anyway it wouldn't matter would it??

I'm no Tron Guy but I am a Blue Power Ranger (similar restrictions in regards to form fitting, etc). Now in March we have a state election on, and I'll be attending the polling booth dressed in Blue.

Out with those Reds!

Perhaps if he had a physique that was flattering, it would be OK.

As it is, Tron Guy just looks... terrible.

(ducks and covers!)

There are others who share that view, I am not exactly one of them, but an upgraded costume might be warranted at this junkture.

Yes, I spelled it that way on purpose!!!

Naah disagree. I like Tron Guy precisely because it DOESN'T look like one of the film characters. It looks like a home grown lash up by someone who doesn't care what anyone else thinks - and my hat's off to him.

Life's too short for giving a damn about what others think. Who'se having the fun here? The clown in the funny suit. Good on yer.

Well Good news for Tron Guy, it was just a misunderstanding on the theaters part and he has seen Legacy 4 times already.

If there is one thing I wish would happen with TRONGuy and his suit, is that he would make it a little more accurate. The once inaccurate homemade feel is nice but it's getting a little old. That and I don't see why he cannot upgrade at some point to a Arena suit like Sam at some point. Other than that, he just fine with me.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online

You guys, I finally figured out what always bothered me so much about Tron Guy...

He reminds me exactly of that part of the Woody Allen Movie "Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Sex But Were Afraid To Ask" where they're all dressed up as sperm...

See?

I really REALLY REALLY hope he upgrades to the new costume... Jay. Really. Do it. PLEASE. I can't be the only one who thinks of that movie when I see you.

What do you want? I'm busy.

Program, please!

Chaos.... good news.

Ditto. If the suit's glowing, leave it out of the theatre. But I can see why he would be disappointed.

I've seen Tron Guy on Youtube and Tosh.0, as well as other shows. If he wants to dress like that and go see Tron Legacy, I say more power to him. I was talking to my room mate when we saw it the first time and I wondered if he indeed did go see the movie in costume. Guess I got my answer. You have Star Wars and Star Trek groupies going to movie premieres in costume with light up sabers and everything, so why not him? I'm glad it got sorted out.
