Do you think a Pixar movie set in the Tron universe would work? Why doesn't Disney make better use of Pixar considering how they all look at the original Tron as one of the inspirations of the work they do.
Its like you have this amazing studio of people who hold Tron in very high regard and would love to do a Tron based movie, who you know would treat it with incredible love and care and do their best to make something amazing, but who Disney all but ignores.

This definitely would be great but it's never going to happen.  Pixar has never made a movie with a brand they themselves didn't create.... Oh well...

Honestly, what I think should have been done with TRON: Legacy is to have the real world scenes filmed in live action and have everything in the Grid digitally animated (including digitally recreating the actors and actresses in the film) with Pixar doing the in-system stuff (and actually doing the character models and settings the way they did in the film, making it the first serious attempt at making a semi-serious attempt at realistic design for animated films, as everything else that Pixar has done has always been slightly "cartoonish"). where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Sort of, except keep the seriousness of T:L and make the in-grid scenes be sort of like it was in the film, but everything from actors to sets done CG to represent the computer world. You know, like how I suggested a while back how I think that if there was ever an adaptation of TRON 2.0, they should just use the game footage for the in-computer scenes while the real world scenes still use real settings and actors.

I kinda think the point of TRON is that one part of it involved people.
I like the idea of an animated spin-off, because it's a spin-off and not a picture or a major part of the story, so Uprising can slide.
Don't get me wrong, I would love a Pixar-made Tron something, I just think the major part of Tron is a human being inside an animated/computer world. I would love some shorts made for TV/ Pre-movie stuff.
That and I don't think Pixar would ever do an adaptation of anything. They've got a bit of a reputation stigma.

Hurh, sorry but I probably wouldn't like to watch that. The fakeness would rob the film of its gravitas for me.

Same. It would have ruined the effect and detached itself too much from Tron.

Really though, if they made another Tron I wouldn't care if it was claymation just as long as there was one!!!!!
