Most importantly to me is the MP modes and player models.
Please for the love of god have colour slider bars for your players glow, ALA halflife.

more importantly the toolsets have to be alot easier to use...dont get me wrong monolith are trying to improve their track record of actually supporting the games they release like no one lives forever and aliens vs predator 2 but they always fall some way short and their set of tools are the hardest to use of all the 3 big game engines lithtech, unreal and quake...so if they could improve the toolset or at least give us an easy hands on faq it wouldnt matter what state they shipped the multiplayer side of the game in cause im sure on of us would fix it...
