Tron Novel!

on Friday, August, 15, 2003 12:45 AM
Sweet! My Tron paper back novel just came in today from ebay... Going to read it.

Just thought I would type the neat little story that's on the first page before chapter one even starts... Trace, You'll love this.

THE DEADLYIEST GAME

Sark readied, cast. The pellet rebound from the mirror. The Blue saw that he must leap across the empty space, where his vanished ring had been, in order to make the catch-that, or see another of his rings dissolved. He took a running start.

But the User-Believer had miscalculated; Sark had forseen when he would do in reaction, and played on it. The Blue barely made the leap across the gap. As he teetered on the edge of his ring, the game pellet struck him squarely. The luckless User-Believer exploded in a brief turbulence of de-rezzing.

Sark's laughter was full and chill.

Sweet hu?

Correction... It's a segment from chapter one... very nice choice to get the reader interested in the novel if they were to glance at the first page. buy viagra onlinehttp://www.bilimselbilisim.com/haberler_detay.aspx?id=42 viagra online

By any chance, was that translated from another language??? I've ran across a lot of mis-translated docs from Japan that are funny, but is still understandable... I drew the conclution that it must be very hard to translate something from one language to english...

Oh... and (I know this is lame these days..)

I'm through Chapter 1 now. There's alot more to that segment, they just picked out the middle is the deal. It begins with a nice little bit about Sark being the the tall and merciless program that fights to destroy all User-Believers for the MCP.buy viagra onlinehttp://www.bilimselbilisim.com/haberler_detay.aspx?id=42 viagra online

So, does the novel have more things in there? o.o

I've always wondered about that because novelizations seemed to have the stuff that movies are missing nowdays, but I'm curious about what was in it for Tron.

I wish I was born a bit earlier. >.> Or if my sister got a book!! AAH!buy viagra onlinehttp://www.bilimselbilisim.com/haberler_detay.aspx?id=42 viagra online

These novels pop up on ebay every now and then and don't cost to much.

Yep, the novel has alot of extera details which add a ton of depth to the film. Sark is very very sinister in the novel. His reputaion is widely known in the System.

"Programs in every Domain in the System had seen Sark's wins, and knew the figure in the elaborate, vaned casque-helmet. They'd watched him eradicate the enemies of the Master Control, and knew that to enter the arena with him was to die."

So far it says that the pitcell area is under the game grid and when Sark communicates with the MCP, he also recharges himself. That area he stands on is an outlet he connects to and gets power from the MCP.
Gotta love Dillingers user code...

I owned a copy of the novel a long time ago, and still remember some of what was in it. It's a great novelization . . . too bad I lost it.

I remember the part where Flynn, Alan, and Lora were breaking into Encom. Flynn was going on about the badges they wore, to help fool security.

"Bodges? Wee don' neeeed no steenkin' bodges!"

Oops. Sorry if I spoiled the story for you a little.

I wouldn't mind if they made some reprints of the novel of Tron. Would be nice to have a good copy of it again. Even if its in hard back. And maybe signed with the original cast of the movie tron.

I remember us having a topic debating about if Dillinger was really that bad. So far what the book reads... Dillinger needs a good beat down. The man is a greedy, lying, cheating, stinkin little weasle. Perfect traits for a corprate little devil such a him.buy viagra onlinehttp://www.bilimselbilisim.com/haberler_detay.aspx?id=42 viagra online

THat he was from what I remembner from the book. THat was why I was rtootin for Flynn and Tron. What was unclear for me was that I don't remember the love scene in the novel. If there was one.

The novelization is awesome! After reading it, there were things in the movie that made much more sense. I referred to it A LOT during the production of Tron 2.0.buy viagra onlinehttp://www.bilimselbilisim.com/haberler_detay.aspx?id=42 viagra online

Did you get through e-bay?

The publishers should make a reprint or something (combo pack )
