Martian Football w/ lightcycles

I always thought Martian Football would be cool to play over the net. http://www.virtualworld.com/tesla/rp/12.shtml
It's essence is CTF, but I still think it is interesting.
Why not do it with a lightcycle mod? Short or no trails, thin speed zones, powerups, hmm....
