If everyone on the face of the planet mysteriously dissapeared (al la "Silent Earth") would one of the top things of your list to do be to drive up to Seattle and break into the Monolith offices and boot up some computers to see what was really going on?
Plus drive down to Cali (or where ever) to Valves headquaters and play half-life 2!!!

well, yeah. But.. nevermind. I think about that sort of situation way way too much. Ergo, there would not be any localized power probably. The power stations wouldnt function very long without human interaction, and nuclear reactors would probably melt down. I would lose all sanity, even though I never had much to begin with. 
I don't know if I would drive to California. By then it would be overrun by evil brain eating mutans which rose from the shadows after the big fall out. I would have to raid a gun shop and pack a nice lunch to prepare for that long trip.

Get a double barrel shotgun, and a chainsaw for my hand which can pop off and a mechanical hand can go in its place and kick some butt...........but seeing as no one is around........I would probably just.....Goto Japan and move in one of the castles there lol

Knowing him, the whole place would be rigged with tons of deathtraps to keep his vast  collection safe.
*Sketch picks up the Mercury statue and starts to leave. A rumbleing sound shakes the whole room. Sketch turns around to see a giant stone bit sculpture of death rolling straight for him at full throttle! While still holding the mercury stature, Sketch does the only thing he can think of.
