Great game; great story. But what I really want to know wasn't answered!
-Who's the CEO of fCon (who always talks from the camera pod hanging from the ceiling)? I'm guessing it's Dillinger - an email from the CEO to one of his flunkies said "I've waited too long just to have this company slip through my fingers again."
-Why on earth did Flynn leave? He's just gone to "greener pastures?" What's that all about? This has got to be the weakest plot point in the entire game and is not explained well at all. Will he be involved with Encom again now that Alan shot him an email about fCon's nefarious plans?
-Is fCon "dead" now? Will Alan and Jet be able to legally prove what you see in the in-game emails? (i.e. - that fCon hired Skorne to spy on Encom's technology, that they planned to use the digitization laser to illegally access all sorts of information all over the globe, etc.) Will Encom be free again and not owned by fCon? Am I remembering correctly or did Gibbs, Jr. (who took over after Flynn left) have something shady going on, too?
Great story, but man - I really wanted to know what "happened." Sure, they defeated the immediate plans of fCon, and they got out of the digital world, but - did they WIN...?

I suspect an expansion will answer many things, if there is an expansion.
As to Flynn leaving....well he struck me as the type that is far happier and better at being a programmer. Perhaps he's starting his own company somewhere. Besides he got his revenge on Dillinger by getting his evidence and defeating the MCP and made his fortune for a time as part of Encom.
Was there anything left for him at Encom? Not really.
Also it could be argued that while Jeff Bridges is interested in being in another TRON movie he may not have been available or willing to be in the game, hence Flynn gets written off.
I'm still curious where the Original TRON is at. It's pretty clear he was no longer in the old Encom system that Jet wrecked by Overclocking it for Ma3a, I-NO would have known. Even Alan didnt mention the concept of locating the Original Tron and seeking his help? is he online at all? Or is he preserved in stasis on a disc of Alan's, or is he hidden somewhere in Alan's PC ?
The Tron Legacy code was taken from Ma3a and used along with a backup of Mercury's bios to restore her from the reformat......but is she suffering any of the psychosis of the Legacy Code? Does she now seek to terminate all users? Or did Alan do some code cleaning first?

The reason I think Flynn's exit is so strange is because you see a few emails where he's talking about how scary the prospect of having users running around the computers unrestrained is. He's "losing sleep" over it or something like that. So it's such a scary prospect that he's just going to up and leave AFTER deciding to pour money into the digitization process while CUTTING the funds for the updated Tron project?
As for locating the original TRON...correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the function of the original Tron to locate and shut down any illegal entry / exit operations of the system? The whole reason he was a threat to the MCP is because the MCP was going out there and doing all sorts of illegal appropriations of software code from other companies. In fact, the entire existence of the MCP was based on those connections...hence Tron's ability to destroy the MCP with his disk.
The Tron Legacy code was created specifically to locate and destroy illegal USERS who were actually inside the computer. Completely different code, right? Since Tron 2.0 revolves around the danger of users inside the system (and not necessarily the danger of the system itself a la the original movie), I would assume that the original Tron would be fairly ineffective. Destroying users wasn't its function - just shutting down progs that were breaching security.

I would have thought that Tron was kept on a disc for safe keeping. (I mean, just keeping Tron on a server is kinna risky...)
Hmm. Maybe Flynn was just too stressed out with the thought of other users entering and altering the computer systems and wanted to just forget about that. Granted, that sounds extreme, but I just wish he had been involved with the game. Too bad the actor wasn't available. =(
But... I honestly hope for an expansion!  And I'll be sure to nab the comics when I get the chance. ^_^
And the CEO? Some of us think it's Dillinger, others assume that it may be a back up copy of MCP. Latter makes sense because MCP was watching Flynn with a camera. So, why not? The back up copy could not have what the original had. (Perhaps, the original failed to keep a current backup copy of himself?)
I find it to be near impossible to think that it could have been Dillinger because he was on the run and probably still is. Perhaps he did come back when no one remembered him anymore?

Dillinger could easuly have evaded the law, skipped the country and had a swiss account in reserve full of funds.
Flynn stated that Dillinger wasnt that bright, yet Dillinger DID create the MCP and presumably SARK since Sark looked like Dillinger, and Dillinger knew how to run the business of Encom.
Who's to say Fcon wasnt started overseas by Dillinger working behind the scenes and slowly amassed power, business, money, etc then came stateside and began to plan to take over Encom.
