That's awesome! I would totally go if given the chance to see it on the big screen again for the first time in over 20 years. I rarely ever plan anymore to go see movies at the theatres what with having a DVD player and a great library of movies these days and surround sound at home. I find myself more and more often just waiting for movies to come out on DVD since the turnaround time is so fast these days.

Anyways, make me jealous and go see it!

That's about the only movie I'd actually pay to see in theatres again just to relive the experience.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

What? And miss a $10 ticket price, sticky floors, screaming children, people kicking your seat, talking with their friends, talking on their cell phones, talking to themselves, talking about the people talking, stepping over you to get out of the isle, chomping loudy on their popcorn with their mouths open, not to mention the overflowing trash cans, when stuff is even PUT into trash cans.

And with all that you'd rather stay home and watch a movie??!

I went to see Alien for the re-release a year or so ago. A friend and I went to an 8:00pm showing at a brand new theater and were the only ones there. Had we known ahead of time we would have done our best to sneak in a 12 pack ;^).

Other than Tron, I can think of dozens of movies that I would love to see in the theater now but was too young at the time (eg. Logans Run). I'm sure some theaters in larger cities show older movies, but down here in Orlando it's sadly not an option.

If I could see a double feature of Tron and Blade Runner on the big screen, I'd be the happiest film geek ever!

ME TOO!

Wait....

Have they ever played Blade Runner on the big screen again? I mean, after the first screening, and release to video?

Twice.

There was a screening of the Workprint of the film in L.A. - but it was a one-time thing.

Then, when Warner Bros. was sending out prints for their 75th Anniversary, Blade Runner: The Director's Cut was released in limited run.

I hear that they are developing a special Blade Runner DVD with the original and director's cuts of the film and extras. I'd love to see them add the workprint, as according to the EXCELLENT book "Future Noir: The Making of Blade Runner" by Paul M. Sammons, it had many new scenes (including Deckard seeing Holden in his iron lung) that have long been heard of but never before - or again - released.

I love Blade Runner above all other science fiction (although Tron is a close second, tied with Dark City).

Man, the last re-release I went to see was *Return of the Jedi* back in '98. Where I'm from, we just don't often get them. I'd love to have seen *Alien,* and *Blade Runner* would be fantastic. I'd also vote for *Lawrence of Arabia* (my favorite Lean [sp?] film), *Gods and Monsters* (not a visual spectacular, but one of my favorites), and any *Star Wars* film. *Tron?* In a heartbeat, baby!!order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Oh I'm so bummed! was just *IN* Portland, OR for the past 3 days and didn't know about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dangit! Now I'm back home and I didn't get to see it. Ohhh, the agony...

I actually saw the thread title a day or two ago when checking this forum from a friend's computer in Oregon, but didn't click into it. Had it said "Portland" in the title, I would've definitely read it *sigh*

I'm getting out of here right now, and you guys are invited. -----^
