as a new member i think i can safely say im pulling my weight in the forum with this kind of news. theres a concert tour going on where an orchestra plays video game music with pictures on giant screens behind them and lazers and what not. they play music frmo mario, metal gear, zelda...TRON?!?...im more than fascinated right now staring at this link i got. you can see for yourself at videogameslive.com....anyone else sharing my intense fascination/obsession?

I did notice today that my Ticketmaster says that it's coming locally to me. So I will get to see it. Pretty cool, huh?

Yeah, we all know. Scroll down the news list on the front page and you'll see the posting.
It's called Video Games Live, and the first one is at the Hollywood Bowl on July 6th.
Tommy Tallarico from G4 TV is one of the people pulling it together and he's told us there will be a huge TRON section.
There is another discussion topic here in the forums if you want to catch up.

I just got my brand new Canon EOS 20D SLR camera and I plan on putting it to good use at that show.

It rocks to be 12. Enjoy it while it lasts because someday you are facing 41 and going "Wow, I can see for miles in both directions from the top of this hill." 
Don't be in too much of a hurry to grow up. Be a kid all the time now, and hold onto that ideal when you get where I am, it will serve you well. I promise.
We'll get pictures for you at least.

Hell, that's why I work in video games and collect TRON stuff and still enjoy toys at 41. The body may be aging, but the mind is that of a kid sometimes. Enjoy it while you have it. A 40 year old friend of mine just died recently of a massive heart attack, and it really puts things in perspective. Stay young as long as you can!
