Tron was released in Japanese theatres, yes. (The 20th anniversary dvd has a Japanese poster in it.)

As for if it was dubbed... not sure. (I think this could be likely...)

They have all the Mulan, BBATB and Pirate's voices listed. However, yes, you are correct that they are not the best source of information for UPCOMING releases. They're usually spot on for anything that's already happened.

Its been a while since I've posted here but I've been following KH2 on other sites and saw that Tron was going to be a world. Then I thought I'd stop by here and see if anyone knew it yet. Looks like they do! lol

So I played the original Kingdom Hearts all the way through twice and was following the news on the sequel. I even at one point suggested that Tron could be a world on another message board but got shouted down. Life, it seems, isn't without a sense of irony. So when this news hit, I was all excited. Not everyone else seems to be though. The attitude of the nay-sayers seems to be "Oh, its an old 80s movie and it doesn't fit in with the Kingdom Hearts feel!" Thats not much of an arguement though, since a lot of the animated worlds are from movies made in the 50s or 60s and Tron certainly isn't the only live action movie used in the game. They are also using Pirates of the Carribean. So I can't wait to see this. I just wonder what the world will be like and what sort of things will take place there.

Will there be light cycles, tanks, recognizers, and disk fights? What will the heartless look like inside Tron's world? What will the keyblade from Tron look like? No one knows just yet. But it should be great fun. ^_^
