Hey Pro's. I need a bit of help for a side project I'm working on. I am trying to identify the games that were used for the sound effects in this clip (shot in '82 or '83). I've been told that none of them were synthesized specifically for this and that the sounds were all recorded from existing games. I recognize Galaxian and of course Pac Man, but there is possible one or two other games I don't recognize.

I couldn't hear any games other than Galaxian and Pac-Man (not Ms. Pac-Man). I think the voice might be from the TV show Starcade, if that's the other thing you're looking for, but I couldn't hear any other games.

Naa, the voice isn't important. And yeah I recognize those games for sure, there's a couple very quick down-pitching effects embedded in it too that sound like typical energy weapons fire (and I don't mean the galaxian laser shot).

sounds vaguely like the lasers from Centipede to me if I remember correctly, or Robotron 2084, although I think that had a more "williams" soundset to it (think Defender)

Damn - I'm loosing my edge. I can't make out any other games than what's already been mentioned. I thought I was hearing some Space Invaders, but that was just the firing noise in Galaxian. Sounded a little similar when blended in with the others.
