Anybody seen this? Tony Hawk SciFi TRON commercial

on Wednesday, July, 30, 2008 8:52 AM
Greetings Programs:

I just saw another commercial incorporating our beloved TRON: it's a commercial for the SciFi channel and it features Tony Hawk. He rezzes onto the game grid, as a blue program, then steps onto a skateboard (which looks somewhat like the flying board in Back To the Future), and it speeds off, leaving a blue trail. Then he's joined by a guy in a yellow-orange suit who speeds along, leaving a yellow-orange trail. Tony Hawk is dressed normally whereas the guy in the yellow-orange suit is wearing one of the TRON costumes from TR1N. They engage in a few twists and turns much like the lightcycle sequence in the movie, and it has an interesting end. Check it out at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_0IxXIIzME.

Weird. My first Tron related comic was a Disney Adventures short story where Tony Hawk is accidentally digitized and has to skate against his video game counterpart. Apparently, Tony Hawk liked the comic enough to request extra copies. Add in this video and I suspect that he might be a Tron fan.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

SHHHHHHHH! If you talk too loud, the Disney execs might hear this and give Tony a huge roll in the new movie!

Somehow, I cannot see Tony Hawk and Jeff Bridges in the same scene in a TRON movie, lol.

I think that video was posted here a while back. It's really cool.

You keep dropping these little collector tidbits.

We need to know issue numbers, dates. Copies must be found for large archives of TRON materials! where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

I'll see about getting you the info. If Disney Adventures hadn't been shut down, I could have just had copies sent to you.

Mostly, no one would make the Tron connection on site. I had no controls over the colors, and so the Tron-esque aspect was greatly diminished. But it is Tony Hawk digitized competing against his digital counterpart. And the counterpart is in awe when he discovers that his opponent isn't just a facsimile, but the real thing.

At the time, I thought it was the closest I would get to Tron. abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

The hunt is the fun part! Thanks for the info.

I saw that on TV also and thought about posting it but I thought someone else would get to it sooner, bleh, I'm getting too lazy.

Also, I liked how you used the word 'TR1N'. That's cool. But that kind of worries me that once TR2N is popularized that TRON will just be refered to as TR1N just like how the great movie 'Frist Blood' is thought of as 'Rambo 1'. I guess that wouldn't be all that bad though.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

Thanks, Hikaru.exe. I just use it as a point of reference nowadays, especially after seeing the TR2N footage that leaked out. Hopefully TR1N won't diminish the greatness of what TRON was and still is. Though, if Disney decides to use TR1N, I hope they compensate, LOL!!!!!(Then again, I hope they really do, as I don't know if anyone else uses TR1N).

I'll have to see if I can get my hands or eyes on that Tony Hawk TRON tie-in comic. It would be cool if in one of the Tony Hawk games, that they incorporated a TRON tie-in, vaguely similar, but unique, to the Kingdom Hearts 2 tie-in. Maybe they could have a game grid skateboarding course, and you "skateboard" against Sark and all the red programs - and then you could have a level where you fight the MCP and you kill him by jumping your skateboard into him, similar to how the digitized Flynn had to jump into him at the end of first movie.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion
