A mainstream media article that doesn't bash Tron? That's a nice change!

Funny how when a Tron sequel gets announced, suddenly Tron is cool again? Not that it ever wasn't. Just interesting how fickle popular culture and the media are.

Actually, I've noticed something pretty creepy in the last couple of months...

Have you noticed that when disney advertises something heavily enough, it sells millions and creates rabid fans? It's like they could advertise their upcoming crap-fest "Ultimate Band" super-heavy and it would sell tons and create rabid fans. It's creepy when you think about it, because a company essentially has the power to single handedly control popular culture. I love seeing a write-up about TRON that doesn't rip on it. I mean, we don't rip on it (TRON fans), but just about everyone else does.

I actually loved 4 of 5 the movies mentioned... except for "The Wizard". I never saw that and it doesn't seem like anything I would have enjoyed at that time. 4 out of 5 aren't bad though. Awesome geek/nerd films!
