I was fooling around with the 10th anniversary google to see what was on the net years ago, didn't find tron-sector in 2001, but found a www.3gcs.com that seems to be gone now http://www.google.com/search2001/search?q=tron&hl=en

I think I visited that site once. Shame it's offline.

I may be wrong, but I think there were two or three old Tron sites that collaborated and merged to form Tron-Sector. 3gcs.com may have been one of the ones? (I can't access the old 3gcs right now, so not sure.)
In looking at the Site Staff, I wonder if Guy Gordon was 3gcs.com? http://www.tron-sector.com/about.aspx
If there's no "History of Tron-Sector" page here, I think one should be created so we know the history. Who founded? Why founded? Date Founded? Milestones or major events? etc.

That's a pretty good idea, even if it were a forum thread or somethin'. It'd be pretty interesting.

Traahn is correct. There used to be three Tron sites back around 2001 or earlier. (Well, there were more. But they were the major ones.)
This site used to be called Auric's Tron-Sector. I can't remember the names of the others sites for sure, at the moment. Then all the sites merged, and this site simply became Tron-Sector. The webmasters of those sites joined the Tron-Sector staff.

Yes,
I remember that website it was the best TRON website around it was rather old from the late 1990's.
It had some much good TRON stuff I saw like every single thing it had, but it hadn't gotten updated in years.
I know it's gone now I haven't been able to find it. But they had this really awesome TRON Screensaver!

3gcs.com was always my top choice for TRON info before Auric's Home Sector became TRON-SECTOR and absorbed the others. Wow, that was a while ago.

My first chatroom after the internet was sort of the 'big new thing' was a place called "The Blue Lamp Tavern"... Met a lot of friends there and miss that old place. I think that was back in 1995.
