I spent waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much time driving around LA today, 160 miles total, the guys that got it were very local (had to be) or sitting in LA waiting. I even went to that IMAX theater near LAX and watched a group of 5 people walk in around 4 PM with large neckband badges labeled something like "new film" review or something, so thought I was on top of things. Funny how it'll actually be the location of the previews Saturday.

Played a few games with the guys there, LA #1 had cherry Tron and Tempest games that played for free, in a mo-ped shop. Guy was playing Gauntlet (clue was something like do your best Merlin impression). Missed it by 40 mins or so (darn you buddha1822!!! jk - it's great somebody from here got 1).

LA #2 was a bowling alley in a scary part of town, the clue was something like hold on to your handlebars, the guy was playing a motorcycle race game. Missed that by 10 mins. Same photographer at both locations for the winners. LA #2 'operative' was also in San Diego for Flynn's arcade, talked to him for a while, nice fellow, but both guys denied knowledge of anything. I'd post pictures but my camera was sick and they turned out bad.

Hi London here (I was posting yesterday)

I tore out of the office knowing I had to cross most of cental london to get to the location. Luckly I had workerd in that area before and I knew the layout of the store where the contact was wating (a good thing as Selfredges is a huge shop).

Anyway to cut a long story short, I arrived 3rd. The guy who won had come from Soho (only a short distance away).

He was given a package that had a mobile phone in it and not much else.

As we were there a few of the employes started to sho up as they had been getting phone calls from people who wanted the prize but didnt want to race for it (bloody cheaters).

Anyway I congratulated the guy and headed home. Fun Fun Fun!
