Disappear could be "Paradises". The image from the Dead or In Love is a picture of a tropical paradise.

Level 3 has no Anagram

Elvira could be Viral E or E-Viral?

Troniacs could be "Scan Intro" or "Intro Scan"

Albino Cow could be "A Bowl Icon" (A discus?) or maybe "A Bowl Coin" (Arcade Coin?)

oh well - just having fun...maybe this doesn't mean anything - just sharing.

I've been looking at it and it looks like writing at the top almost. Any chance of something being there or in anything else like it? Maybe it needs some more rearranging.

So I'm thinking that barcode is a date of either December 1985 or December 19, 1985 as well. As for now I've hit a dead end about where to go from Encom International.

And still, I'm seeing the number five repeated EVERYWHERE within this ARG...

Well as I was brainstorming with TRON.dll, I came up with two half-baked ideas:
1) Those images are sent from Flynn within the system (for some reason unbeknownst at the moment) and they got a tad corrupted along the way, hence the lines and misalignment.
2) The images are part of the ARG, and the strange lines do oddly resemble barcodes themselves....
So it's either innocent supplementary material, or a major clue. And I still can't decide if the number five is to just mess with us or not.

I know what you mean. The 'operatives' in LA waited around for at least an hour and a half, pretty good I thought. But really for the effort they should give out a trinket of some sort (frizbees!), I think its much better than coming away empty handed for the effort, and believe me it's was quite an effort at that. I came up with a rule of thumb, if you go to be the first, you probably need to be within 20 minutes of the site or it'll be tough.

Hazdo, aren't your two black bars across the top and near the bottom supposed to have meshed into one after you descrambled it? They sure look like they should have. edit - nevermind, I guess you magically erased the pictures and left the rest intact?

Looked like when the lightcycle image was reconstructed, the colored "interference pattern" was still shifted, so I took a stab at reconstructing just the "raw" interference by lining up the black bar (I only did the n8xd93f2rk077px1n6wdq839m0 image):


The reconstructed part is on the right side (by shifting the slices that were along the left edge).

Not as interesting as I'd hoped. The series of colored bands do repeat from top to bottom (repeated exactly, including all the thin blue and black lines) so there are almost two complete copies of the series. Take a look at the pattern above and below the green bands and you'll see the repetition.

I only did the colored pattern, sans drawing, so I don't know what the cycles look like after this shift. Could be a code in the size of the slices themselves? In the thin blue/black lines? Something only in a particular color channel (like only in the blue channel)?

Hope this gives someone else further ideas.
