Greetings everyone,
I'm a model maker/prop replicator by trade when not working at Disney. We have an annual holloween costume party/contest for our area every October. This year I decided I want to go as a Tron lightcycle. I've been collecting all the reference I can find. My intention is to be inside the costume with a lighted game grid base to hide my torso and legs. I'm looking ofr any reference and or models that anyone in the know here has that will help me make this as accurate as I can. This will be a build thread so please feel free to follow along and comment as I go. At the moment I'm still collecting reference so feel free to help me out here
Cheers,
William

Another idea, though not sure how safe or strong it'll be:
Build the lightcycle around your bike. Optional: Invent jetwalls.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

TRON 2.0 (PC) name - TRON.dll
I'll play any mode, but I'm best at LC.
PSN - TRON-dll
XBOX Live/Games for Windows Live - TRONdll

Well,
those usually only last about 30 minutes or so, I've used them before. I'll be looking for something a more realistic looking finish. Right now I gotta get this ball molded and cast,I'll finish up the front wheel first, then will move on to the rest of the fuselage for the cycle.

I don't know about the whole bike, but you might be able to get some decent glowing by using EL wire behind some frosted plastic sheets to diffuse the light.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

ok,
CAD drawing is finisheD, thanks for all your expertise and assitance on this so far Matthew. I tried something totally new for me, shading in corel draw. Here's the image, it turned out real well I think... See anything wrong with this cycle?..I think it's fine, but who knows there's probably more experts out there who know better than me.

Will

ok, I bought a 75 cm( 30") exercise ball for the front tire pattern to mold, then a litttle measuring revealed, it's not quite big enough. It needs to be 36" diameter, so ordered a beach ball. Since so much detail "attaches" to the front wheel ball, the front wheel is the best place to begin the construction. My cad drawing was important for two reasons, First patterns are exactly how the finished version will be, and they can be scaled any direction I need them. That and I can laser cut parts if needed, nice little bonus there.
Cheers,
William

I knew that's what it was! Really sharp work you do. And a DM fan to boot.
We have to get you booked on David Letterman along with Tron-Guy when you complete this, for the Holloween show... |

those are from the paper model right? the author had sent his model to me but It had issues. So far, Matthew's model has been the best one I've seen. I used his and screen captures to come up with this CAD...I'm still waiting on the 36" diameter beach ball... should be here this week, then I will start the build. It looks like I'll be using a lot of blue foam too for the basic build then hit it with styrospray to hard coat it for finishing.

hi all,
While I didn't get the costume done for Halloween, I'm still doing the full size replica. I had a couple setbacks on the project, the biggest one being to obtain a correct size dome for doing the front wheel. I needed a 36" diameter. I now have the dome I need, so the build will begin with taking quick castings from it to make both halves of the wheel. Stay tuned...
Cheers,
William
