Anyone see the Starz special "Hollywood Goes Gaming"? It is a nice retrospective of movies and gaming. Lisberger is interviewed and TRON gets covered. The special came out in 2007, before any mention of TRON Legacy. Love the segment of ET for the 2600. The developer says that Speilberg, after seeing the game, says "Why didn't you make it more like Pacman?" and the developer replies "Why didn't you make ET more like The Day the Earth Stood Still?" That sums up Hollywoods cluelessness regarding computers and gaming during that period and part of the reason TRON did poorly.
