The discs unfortunately do not fit on the figure's back, but the button case looks like a disc, so that helps. I think most will want to display the figures with the discs in their hand, I do. The paint apps are good-very good, like most action figures. I prefer the new light cycle (Flynn's) over the Medicom version. This one is more detailed and lights up. |

The light cycle (at least Flynn's) stands on its own perfectly fine. The front end has a wide small wheel on the bottom which allows it to roll and balances the cycle perfectly.

Play.com have a listing for TRON Top Trumps - £3.99 in the UK, out end October.
Really jealous of all the shininess the US has, no discs/figures located in Blighty as yet. I must be patient and avoid expensive imports, they will come soon enough...

I think it's just released early in certain areas of the U.S.A, because I've went to different stores where I live including a Toys are Us. I called another Toys are Us that's a couple of hours away and they didn't have any TRON toys either.
That's fine though, because I'm really just excited getting the pc game.
I'm cold and calculating. Don't press my buttons.

Play.com (UK) have Kubrick twin packs of Clu/Bear, Sam/Bear and original Tron/Sark for pre-order (release 15 Dec 10) = £15.99 a pair.
v Dis that they don't have the Daft Punk ones, and expensive for 2 ickle figures, but if Santa still answers letters from 30+ guys I'm sorted.

On the 3-4" Sam Flynn figure, why is the visor not tinted blue?
Pics I've seen of the figure had a blue tinted visor, but the actual figure I've seen in video reviews on Youtube the visor is clear with no color tint.. Kinda lame. :/ other than that the figure is very nicely detailed.
here's a good review on it:

it would be nice if spinmaster re-issued the sam figure with a blue tinted visor or maybe even a blue tinted visor thats removable, after all all the pics and footage we have seen so far show his disc battle visor as having a blue tint to it, and apparently sam will have 3 different looks:
dis battle visor
light cycle battle helmet
and no helmet
would be nice to get figures of him in all these different incarnations

I tried the local Toys R Us in Vermont and did'nt see any Tron merchandise yet, despite the rumors and sightings of them in parts of the country.
It appears to me Disney had them yanked by court order or told Toys R Us to wait until October.

Burbank and Van Nuys Toys R Us stores have nothing.
Tried a shop called Halo 13 in Burbank for fun and found nothing but a rack of TRON 2.0 figures mint in package.

Court order? Nope, just Spinmaster vender/reps telling the stores to hold product until Oct. 1st. All the stores in my area said the same thing, "we did have them on the shelf, but the Spinmaster reps came in and made us pull them to the back." They also confirmed that the boxes do NOT have street dates on them and they said that if these toys did in fact have an actual street date they would be blocked in their system, which they are not. I don't really understand why Disney wants the toys to be held until Oct. 1st, even than the movie will still be 2 1/2 months away. on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill onlinewhere to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

perhaps they have something planned for the official release date of the toys?
