Hey gang,
Just wanted to warn everyone that there will be one small change that will be made to the forums at the end of March. i will be turning off the ability to use RAW html inside posts.
This is for two reasons...
One we will be moving to the new forums/site soon and it is not allowed there.
Two is that it's simply safer. Prevents hackers from trying to exploit the site and cause harm to the site or it's users.
You'll want to start using the [ ] tags for html-like content. Review the FAQ for more help:

I'm aware this is a big change, but I'm warning you NOW so that everyone has time to make changes to their signatures and or general posting practices.

I think I should point out that the quote tags, specifically those that are put in automatically when the quote button is used, still make use of some HTML coding.

Good move is making the site safer.

Is it possible to convert this board into a modern web standard phpBB board? Or at least make its navigation a better?
The forums' navigation is not up to date if you ask me. Just want to see things improve, no bad thoughts..

Is it just me or does the forum reconnect one even if logged off was clicked?
Is it at least possible for this very old board to jump to your _LAST_ written comment in a topic when you reply on something instead of jumping to the 1st page?
This is kind of annoying if you ask me.

Can we make it so new users can't create new threads so fast? All these similar topics, new users are too lazy to click on the next page for a new list of threads. At least 4 days before they can post a new thread.

This board looks like from the 90's to me... since I'm in a lot of game and film forums and they are all better in functionality and do not have tons of bugs.

You should change this akward dropdown box as a page.
And why not jumping to the last entry when hitting "Send" like every board is doing?

Truth be told, I think Auric pays to host or have this site... so at least it's free for you and us. I just wish personal messages to him didn't go into an abyss that never get replied to. Only way to reach him seems like if the site is attacked... then he pops out of the woodwork, thank goodness. Well, come on. Why doesn't somebody just create a new one, then? Is that not something we wish to do? Auric, would you be offended if we did? I'd still come here because there's a lot of content, some of it from former years of the site and former members and such, which is cool...
