It easy, just do this:
1. Install the TRON font (the one I made so long ago) on your system
2. Use the built in 3D text screen saver, just set the font to the TRON font and the character to the Recognizer dingbat (the [ character)

First off: Awesome font.
Second off: Awesome idea.
Here's the settings I used (Windows 7):
Resolution, size, rotation speed: Default
Show specular highlights: Off
Rotation type: Wobble
Solid Color - Custom Color:
-Hue: 65
-Sat: 240
-Lum: 26
-Red: 21
-Green: 55
-Blue: 0

woh its awesome if you do reflection and use this: http://img191.imageshack.us/g/0010110.png/ as the custom with highlights off
you need to change them back to BMP's image shack made them PNG's
i also loaded my backgrounds in wide screen and normal

the 110001110 ones also look cool for reflections 
(all rights to image belong to me so don't post them or i will digitize myself and go to your computer and create a virus that makes your scheme go funky and the screen saver comes on if you don't use the mouse for 0.30 seconds)

put the font file in your font folder usualy in the windows folder on your primary drive
just open my computer and search "fonts" and you should get the folder in the results
