I don't think T:E will go as far being exactly like God of War...
Maybe slightly like PoP: Warrior Within in some aspects.

If the pace is too slow the gameplay could get kind of dull I think.
It sounds like you expect it to be too much like Tron 2.0 but in the third person.

While that could be cool and all, sometimes a publisher pushes the dev to make the game have a broader appeal.

T:E may not live up to your expectations.

I think that it being a prequel of sorts to the new movie's story and set in the new Tron Universe would warrant at least it being given a chance, and going in with a open mind and seeing if one enjoys the game or not and seeing if it's at least a decent, solid game.

It just seems like your wanting to condemn the game already before even playing it and giving it a chance.

I guess this may fall under the "can't please everyone all the time" catagory for some... just sayin'

Look at this vid and tell me you're not bothered by the tumble animation every time he lands? Or the animations, in general. It's also like his body doesn't carry any weight to it. Looks like he'll be going 90MPH (being facetious) most of the time, with a jerky run. Sorry, having 15-foot jumps and 30 foot leaps is not my idea of what the Tron world was meant to evolve to. It'll be fine if this is a fun little arcade type of game they're making for fun. Just as long as they have plans to make a deeper, more refined, more involved, more serious. less arcade-type of game sometime afterward to satisfy gamer needs like mine (not just your generic, pleased-by-everything-Tron, add Jar Jar Binks in a Tron suit and it'd be okay needs).

If it helps, ShadowDragon1, I just watched a couple more videos on GameTrailers that I hadn't seen before. You know, there are elements that do look nice, don't get me entirely wrong... and it may be fun for me to play for a while. Heck, maybe it'll be some good mindless action for through it all. But it does seem to be fairly one-dimensional. And if what we're seeing is all we get (gameplaywise), then I can't wait for the next Tron game where they go back to more of how Tron 2.0 was in terms of gameplay; just bigger, evolved and enhanced Tron 2.0.

When T:E's main features are "parkour" and "persistent character"... those features don't do a lot for me, sorry to say. Parkour is getting cliche in games (though I do really look forward to seeing it in the movie due to how they filmed it)... and a persistent character between single player and multiplayer isn't really a selling point for me.

Ther tumble animation really doesn't bother me, it's slightly awkward, and as to the wall running looks fun to me, and I like those parkour and wall running parts, and the jumping look fine to me.

I really don't mind the similarities to those elements of Prince of Persia in the game so that isn't really isn't a negative to me.
Any animation or physics anomolies I think will be polished up over the next 4 months before the game is released.

Even if they aren't I don't think those anomolies are gameplay breaking. But I am sure the bugs and glitches in the animations and such will all bre fixed up, since the developer still has a about 3-4 months left to polish things up on it.

Tron is supposed to cyber space world with not entirely real world physics anyways.

IMO I think the game is looking pretty fun so far and I like that it has a combo system and that the player character can gain Exp and upgrade his Light Disc. I really don't get the nitpicking or negativity about it....
It seems like a solid game so far and seems to incorperate some gameplay elements from Tron 2.0 which is pretty sweet; I also really love the music and the enviroments are beautiful IMO.
