Dang it! I ordered the 5 disc off Amazon and I don't get anything special. Shucks! |
Yeah, like Jedi said. There are TWO different 5-disc sets on Amazon. One comes with a special Identity Disc. You might want to cancel your order and order the other. It is about $15 more if I remember correctly. There ya go on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online

So is the light disc bonus is JUST for preordering it from Amazon? It won't be available in stores as a bonus? That kinda sucks. I don't have the money right now to pre-order anything. Does anyone know if other stores will do special bonuses like they did with the Transformers movies? I know Best Buy, Target, and Walmart usually do the bonus pack thing. I guess the one for Wal-mart will be the bonus green cycle though.
I've heard from various sources that the line is cancelled, and I hear from others that it isn't. All claim to be official and to have come from "reliable sources" so I dunno what to think. I guess all we can really do is just wait and see.
I got the die cast light jets and grid limo from Disneystore.com and they're pretty decent. All in all I love the whole die cast line. The figures were nice, but could have been better. The deluxe discs and vehicles were great too. The main problem with the line has been lack of new merchandise availability and articulation issues. It was their first time making these sort of figures, so it can be understood. I just wonder if there will be another company making Tron toys in the future.

Its kinda sad that Spinmaster would tease us with that picture of the Castor figure especially with all this talk of the toyline ending, its cool that Walmart is getting that green cycle, though after pre ordering the identity disc collection dont know if it merits a double dip buy just for a cycle repaint.
I also remember seeing a solar sailer diecast pic on the net I wonder if it will be used as another exclusive like walmart.
Also did anyone get the Recognizer case to hold the diecast vehicles. i saw it at Target with a clearence sticker and it says it comes with a cycle, if anyone bought this what color cycle is it?

And there goes the sole reason I joined this forum. Thanks, Spinmaster, for the great dinner and the movie. I was really enjoying our evening together until you RAPED ME. Gah. Typically, I'm all for unknown things, and not giving into corporate giants. But this time? To hell with that, I'd be happy if Hasbro got every action figure deal from now til the end of time.
*sigh*
Oh well, it gave me a new hobby. I would never have even considered doing figure customs before I started collecting Tron Legacy... and I love it. It's spendy, but I love it.

I see no reason to leave. This is a new era of Tron, and I've got to stay up-to-date on anything new. I'm going to remain optomistic about the Uprising products as well, and I'm gonna raid every store's Tron clearance and keep making customs. I'm not gonna let the man get to me! IMMA STICK IT TO 'IM! Well, if they do another sequel, I'd be surprised if they didn't. I would think though, that whatever happens next would be handled by another company. I'm hoping for Hasbro. I've never been disappointed with them. Ever. Kenner and Mattel have let me down with poor articulation, or awfully disproportioned headsculpts. NECA is a little expensive, as is Medicom.

Target has the ID/5-set movie bonus, too. Just do a search for 'Tron'.
Gambit: the Green lightcycle is getting to be old news now. And yes, I'm buying it, too. I'll keep the toy and sell the Blu on Fleabay. Easy.

Collectors aren't Average Joes. Average Joe will buy the vanilla release while Tron-Sector folks will obviously spring for the premium pack-ins and limited editions. That's also why they do the tiered releases, for the Average Joes with paychecks and bills. But his plan is actually a pretty interesting way to have your cake and eat it too, I'm sure there's someone that would love the five-disc edition at a discounted price without the pack-in.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill onlineorder abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill Troy, He Fights for the Users

GambitLives!!! Wrote:Ummm... I'm a collector and an average Joe. But I would not pay $60 for a what is equal to a glorified coaster and a copy on 3d that almost noone can afford to play. Are you saying you would buy this w/o owning a 3d player?. That is not collecting. It is blindly buying anything just because it says Tron on it. There is a difference being a collector and a sucker. |
Not only is Disney future proofing you, but they're also providing backward compatibility with the SD DVD. How is owning a 3D copy in the event that I DO have a 3D TV a few years from now a blind buy? You know the movie you're purchasing. And if you're buying it for the SD DVD, you're getting the BD in case you have a Blu-ray player in the future as well. Plenty of people picking up these multi-disc sets knowing they'll have a BD player eventually.
I've already pre-ordered the five-disc set without the collectible. Yes, I'm in the minority and already have a 3D capable set. No, I have no interest in the pack-ins or the fancy packaging. But regardless, fifty bucks for five discs is a steal. Look at the Twilight Zone five-disc BD set that just came out which is still a good twenty bucks more expensive than the $49.99 5-disc preorder. Man, I should start taking my financial advice from this guy. he's right, I don't need any of these toys at all. What was I thinking? I know they make me happy and all, but what use is happiness in the long run? I'm canceling my 5-disc pre-order, because he's right - Blu-Ray will definitely be obsolete by the time I get it, and buying it with the intent of having a Blu-Ray player sometime this year is just dumb.
