Anyone know of any nice Chumby Tron-esque clocks? There are a a couple nice Star Wars clocks, but Tron seems to be missing altogether.
There is a blue neon one, but it's a little boring. I was hoping for something where maybe light-cycle trails would spell out the time-change. One can dream...

I wish I knew... Now that the movie is fully out though maybe someone on the Chumby developers list will do one. I too am hoping for some TRONesque apps as I just got a Chumby One for Christmas....Love it to death too. "Word to the Motherboard!" - IsoLine |

Right now I'm using that Death Star clock that shows the Rebel base. It's pretty sweet...but not Tron. Hell, I'd even take an '82 or Tron 2.0 identity disc with a clock slapped on it.

They are an, "internet appliance". A clock is one thing they can do. It's just a low-powered LCD with a WiFi connection that sits on your desk and it can do things like run animated clocks, RSS feeds, Pandora, etc. They are pretty fun to mess around with. There are several of these appliances out there now, but Chumby was really the first company to be known for them.
They have the Classic which is almost like a leather beanbag. And the One which is the new plastic version. They also license their software out to companies like Sony. That's why some of Sony's clocks say, "Chumby Powered".
They are totally unnecessary. But once you have one, you'll never want an old clock radio again.
